Guwahati, Shillong and Cherrapunji Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Guwahati airport, pickup from airport and drive to Shillong (140kms / 4 hrs drive approx). En-route visit Barapani Lake / Umiam Lake. This Lake is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya. It offers an incredible experience of sailing, water skiing, water scooter & other water sports activities in midst of Sylvan Hills adorned by Khasi Pines & Peerless beauty. Arrival transfer to hotel and night stop over at hotel at Shillong
Day 2
After breakfast excursion trip to Cherrapunjee (60 kms/2 hrs drive). En-route visit Seven Sister Waterfalls, Elephant Falls. Evening: visit the local markets and night stop over at hotel at Shillong
Day 3
Local sightseeing in Shillong covering Ward's Lake, Don Bosco Church, Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls and local market (closed on Sundays) and night stop over at hotel at Shillong
Day 4
After breakfast drive to Guwahati (110 kms / 3/2 hrs drive). Check in hotel. Later visit Kamakhya Temple, Sankardev Kalakshetra and night stop over at hotel at Guwahati
Day 5
Early morning visit Kamakhya Temple, Vasisth Temple, Sankardev Kalakshetra, River Cruise over the mighty Brahmaputra (there own cost) and night stop over at hotel at Guwahati
Day 6
Morning free for packing and personal activities. In time checkout from hotel and transfer to airport
